Project comprises real estate development potential of ~1.7 sq. ft. across residential and commercial. The project has road frontage on the Old Mahabalipuram Road (“OMR”) and is located at Kelambakkam, approximately 5 km from the 800 acres SIPCOT Industrial Park at Siruseri.

Key features of the project location:

IT/ ITES activity in Chennai is housed in the suburbs along the OMR and in the Mahindra IT city. OMR, 45-km IT corridor, currently extends from 1 mn sq. ft. Tidel Park to Siruseri (25-km.). The IT corridor runs parallel to the entertainment corridor along the scenic east coast highway.

The Fund acquired the project / asset in 2007 from an asset reconstruction company under the provisions of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interests (SARFAESI) Act, 2002.
