Company / Project Overview

Pride Hotels owns and/or operates a chain of full service, business and leisure hotels in five-star and mid segment across India.

Pride follows a two pronged strategy, viz. developing and operating its own hotels as well as operating hotels under management contracts. Currently, Pride operates and owns or has long term leases for six hotels in Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Bangalore with a total room inventory of 740 rooms. It also manages six hotels with a total of 395 rooms under management contracts. Most of the existing hotels cater to the business class travellers while some of the hotels under management also cater to leisure travellers.

Pride also has an under construction hotel property in New Delhi in close proximity to International Airport (386 rooms).

The Company has three distinct brand identities – Pride Hotels (4 to 5 star business hotel), Pride Biznotel (mid segment business hotel) and Pride Resort (Leisure).

The Fund invested in the parent company in 2007 to support growth plans of the company.
