Kotak Alternate Opportunities India Fund

The second close-ended realty fund is also focused on investing in the Indian real estate and allied sectors

• Raised in July 2007
• Committed AUM of Rs. 14,911 million (USD 331 million)
• % of capital called from investors: 100%
• Amount exited as a % of amount invested: 25%

Kotak India Real Estate Fund-IV and V (Yield Fund)

These are the most recent funds focused on debt investments in the Indian real estate and allied sectors

• KIREF IV was raised in August 2011 and KIREF V was raised in November 2011
• Committed AUM of Rs. 5,089 million (USD 113 mn)

Kotak Realty Fund (KRF) functions as a division of Kotak Investment Advisors Ltd (KIAL). KIAL is a subsidiary of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited, and is focused on providing investment management and advisory services relating to Alternate Assets. KRF currently renders investment management services to four funds that are domiciled in India and provide investment advisory services in relation to one Offshore Fund.

The offshore fund, Kotak India Realty Fund is managed by Kotak Mahindra (International) Ltd. KIAL acts as an investment advisor to Kotak Mahindra (International) Ltd. This fund has been raised from International LPs comprising, Pension Funds, Insurance Companies and Family offices from across the globe.
